SURVEILLANCE DETAILS

SURVEILLANCE - ONE INVESTIGATOR:

In certain cases one Investigator may be able to observe a Claimant for an extended period. Several factors come into play in determining a One or Two Investigator Surveillance.

The Claimant’s disability ( i.e. Chronic Fatigue ), this person should not be overly active.
Rural close knit area with a low traffic volume.

The biggest advantage of a One Investigator surveillance is the cost savings.

A normal budget for a two day Surveillance in any one of our Operating Areas would be $2,000.00 - $2,300.00 plus disbursements and H.S.T.

SURVEILLANCE - TWO INVESTIGATORS:

In most cases the use of two Investigators proves advantageous in conducting surveillance. A second Investigator is provided at an additional $30.00 per hour, plus mileage when applicable.

Some of these advantages include:

Where the Claimant resides, (i.e. apartment building with two or more exits, two or more exits from a sub-division).
Greater success in following a Claimant through traffic.
Reduced chances of detection. Investigators are able to leapfrog and avoid prolonged periods of having one particular vehicle behind the Claimant.
One Investigator may have to obtain a surveillance position on foot.
Usually able to obtain more evidence. An example of this would be a Claimant entering their vehicle and then departing a shopping mall. The primary Investigator is more likely to obtain video tape evidence of the Claimant’s full range of movement, from entering the vehicle, securing the seatbelt and possible neck movement when backing from a parking space. The secondary Investigator is responsible for immediately following the Claimant into the store and then as they exit the parking lot.

A normal budget for a three day surveillance in any one of our Operating Areas would range from $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 plus disbursements and H.S.T.

EQUIPMENT:

DENNIS FOSS & ASSOCIATES INC. utilizes high quality digital video cameras and top end digital 35 mm cameras. A concealed video camera is utilized for interior footage of the Claimant in shopping malls and other places of business.
